South Gippsland Landcare Network has received a $4,000 State Government funding boost to support volunteers.

Eastern Region MP Johan Scheffer said the organisation had received the grant for its Group Revitalisation Project. The project aims to work with local Landcare groups to attract new members and increase NRM volunteer numbers.

It will also develop action plans to increase community involvement and produce targeted educational materials for groups to attract volunteers.
