DPI is changing how it designs and delivers services, releasing a new service delivery model "Better Services to Farmers" in April, so farmers receive better targeted more accessible and more relevant services that help them make better decisions about their businesses.

To improve services, DPI will collaborate with more services providers, industry and community groups who are well placed to meet the changing needs of farmers.

DPI will be progressively implementing these changes over the next 3 to 24 months, and will be undertaking staff training, and stakeholder engagement to negotiate partnership delivery arrangements.
