The Central Coastal Board has prepared a draft Coastal Action Plan (CAP) for recreational boating in the central coastal region with the purpose of providing a regional basis for the planning and management of recreational boasting facilities in Port Phillip and Western Port. It sets a vision for 2030 and provides short and medium term guidance for public and private investment to support boating, whilst recognising other important coastal uses and the need to protect the coast for future generations.
