Customer Service Officers across Gippsland are usually the first point of contact the community has with organisations involved in caring for our regions natural resources. With each organisation having different and sometimes overlapping responsibilities, it is difficult to know what each organisation does, let alone who is responsible for what.
With this in mind, the Customer Service Resource (CSR) has been developed to provide everyone with the same information about who does what in terms of managing our natural resources.
The CSR was recently circulated to the Customer Service Reference Group which was established late last year. This interactive document has been a collaborative effort of many Customer Service Officers and other agency staff from all across Gippsland and contains information on topics ranging from ‘Water’ to the disposal of paint.
It is planned to send regular updates to ensure that the information contained in the CSR remains up-to-date. If your office has not yet received a copy of the CSR, or if you wish to be added to the distribution list and suggest some improvement and inclusions, please email your details to adamm@wgcma.vic.gov.au. The current edition of the CSR will be emailed to you and the subsequent updates (Edition 2 is planned for release in September) will also be sent to your inbox.
All comments and suggested additions/improvements are welcomed.
